My Yahoo answer was reported by my competitor.....

My Yahoo answer have been reported, not only one but six of the answer. I believed that my competitor report it to yahoo answer team. It is wasting my time to appeal for all the them.

Fortunately, all the appeal was accepted by yahoo answer team. Therefore, all of you shall appeal if your answer is proper answer when get reported


I wondering any other member facing the same problem?
And anyone of you have idea to find out who is the one report my answers?

 

you're really lucky mate, my yahoo answers account got de-activated (all posts getting deleted) without any warning due to the spam report by my competitor

 

It's important to always list more than just your site in the resources.

i usually show 3 URL's with mine being 1 and the other 2 from wikipedia or answers.com. This way no one can report you for abuse.

Also, have more than one account - create a new one after every 50 or so answers, that way all your hard work won't be in vain.

You are very lucky friend , if ur competitor makes 3 accounts and report from each of them , your yahoo answer account will be deleted without any further question , yahoo answer rejects 99.99% appeal by an automatic email saying you really violated posting guideline .

 

Yahoo answers proving to be a waste of time since your answers no matter how relevant it is is getting reported and ultimately your account getting banned !

 

Really? However, i was receive more than 30 abuse report since the first day i use yahoo answer and only one appeal is reject, others all success. It sound like yahoo answer dont have good system to manage on this issue.

 

yeah. like me too. when you put your link, dont forget to put another site too, it will reduce your risk to ban by yahoo.

Good tip, I've had some appeals approved, so it's definitely worth it.

 

Try to make human looking answers , take your time , don't through garbage and then put your link in the resource box.

If your answer isn't related to the topic of your website , then don't put your link.

And finally, put another link with your site, search google for anything close to the subject, buut not your competitor of course ! (putting wikipedia or so look suspicious sometimes)

 

That sucks.. Yahoo answers has been cracking down.

 

My answer is 100% made by human with correct information and related link, That's why Yahoo accept my appeal. The problem is it spend me time to make appeal. Wondering why the competito using such "dirty" strategy.

 

Since Yahoo accepted your appeals, it does appear that someone out there is not happy with your efforts.

There is nothing anybody can do about it except continue to remain focused and make them even more annoyed with the quality of your work!

what you do is create a new account for evry 10 or 20 answers. this is worth is as i still get traffic from someone else posted my website in one of the answers

 

Frankly speaking, those new account answer get less traffic compare to high level user account with good best answer rate and top contributor title. That's why i use only one account

 

There are many comptetioes who use these kind of cheap tricks
I too got up once, i stopped yahoo answers

That's what i hate them, they even "spamming" the answer but report others......this is really bad

Still using it since yahoo answer traffic provide me good conversion
