Is Squidoo Lens gives backlink benefit?

I am planning to create a squidoo lens. But is that gives benefit of backlink as far as SEO is concerned?

 

Squidoo lens is really powerful interms of seo, serps and ofcourse backlinks.

not true. squidoo lenses as still dofollow. when you build a lens at the beginning, it will show as nofollow because your lens is still under WIP (work in progress) status. usually your lens turns to dofollow within 24 hours. sooner with extablished profile

 

I think squidoo is very hard to get indexed by google.

80% of my lenses get indexed within 48hrs in google.. i think quality matters! if your content is rich and doesnt contain much of links (SPAM) google will love it
