hi , guys i just want to know whether anyone got banned by clickbank . I also wanted to know whether anyone was called by clickbank officials for the sources of the products which got purchased . Plz help PS : I am a newbie to ClickBank
Well, it might be possible to get your account banned if you're seen to be buying through your own hoplink and then re-funding after you get payment. Not sure if they ban you or just increase the allowance.
OK...both of your posts on here sound like you are trying to SCAM the system and other people. See: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1357801 You will not get banned by CB, as long as you don't do anything WRONG!
there is a very easy answer...Read the clickbank TOS, If you violate the clickbank TOS you will probably get banned.
Last person I saw do something like "cheat the system" had his door busted in by the feds and was hauled off in cuffs and all his computer equipment confiscated. Tracking and pinpointing computers on the Internet is way too easy (I know, I'm not only a network and systems engineer, I'm also a former "white hat" hacker). They'll catch you, interstate wire fraud carries 20 years. Is it really worth it?
What's wrong in purchasing something under your affiliate links and how on earth would they know it was you? Crap, yes Clickbank bans accounts for using blackhat methods.. basically stay away from those. A good ol' friend of mine has his check blocked once of around $6K...which isn't pleasant..
There's nothing legally wrong with purchasing something under your affiliate link but for some reason Clickbank frowns upon it especially if you do a refund after wards. How will they know it was you? They won't find out if you us a name other than your own but they do have your name on your account and they can cross reference the sale that way. If they look at IP addresses (they do track them trust me) they can tell if a purchase was made using the same computer network you normally use to login with. If you're going to do a test purchase use someone elses name and credit card (not fraudulently though) and use a computer that's on a different subscriber network from your own. That way there would be nothing to cross reference back to you.
Yeah you can get banned and yes they will ban you if you do anything against the tos. It might take a little while before they catch on and you'll think you are getting away with it but then you accrue a bunch of sales and "BAM" you get a email that says they are freezing your account and banning you. I suggest not trying whatever you were going to try it probably is against their tos. IMHO cheers!
No, I haven't been banned by any company because I read the ToS and I don't do things that are illegal. The only way you will get banned is if you are doing something that is hurting others in some way, in which case you should do a gut check anyway.
There are anonymizers and other protocols that will beat the system. Only idiots who uses their real ip when doing low down things get caught.
