TWITTER - 260 Followers in less than 24 hrs

Hey guys i am new to Twitter. I join yesterday and today when i login my account it says i have 260 Followers. I have got 260 Followers in less than 24 hrs using a little of my brain.. Now what ? I heard people make lots of money with that , i found some methods but all s..ks.. Can you tell me some methods that you are actually using to make money..

I have even started my forum (http://www.gurupros.com) where members can follow each other. If i get 1000 members at the end of the week i am sure i will get some followers. That's one idea..

Making money over the net is not so easy. It need a lot of research and hardwork at the begining.
On the other hand, if you are talking about twitter followers. Then you should also follow all of them otherwise they will remove you from their following list. You will start getting traffic from twitter when you will be having near about 10000 twitter followers. Making money using twitter is just by getting traffic from the website for your own website or the forum. If you are selling a product or service then its direct link can be posted while tweeting.
