Logo Design

Hi there

What is the best software to use to design a logo?

I use Illustrator for outlines and Photoshop for image effect if needed but necessarily it should look good on black and white. I know there is a way to use 3D for logos but have not mastered this technique yet. The great thing about Illustrator CS4 is, the aligning is awesome. You have can align them quite easily without having to use the align as much or the X and Y position.

Does anyone else use a different technique other than what I know?

I use Illustrator and PS the same way you do for websites, but full vector for print applications and things that need to be scaled

 

Nice 330...I was just wondering if anyone else uses a different way but I guess this way might be well the most effective too.

Don't make your logos with softwares, let the designers create!

Logo Softwares, i used, MS Paint & MS fontpage to create logo, but i recommend corel & photoshop.

I would definitely use two softwares. Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator. They are some of the few great ones out there that you can use.

Hi salactivee.. I have seen the logos designed by you and should say that they are great. Any quick tips on how to make great logos. I have a thread posted which asks for "how to convert a drawing drawn on paper into a digital logo?" Or if you could please help me know the steps in creating a great logo!
