You can get PR 5 with 0 backlinks as well. All you need is wordpress blog and some usefull SEO plugins .. All we had was loads of content and wordpress SEO plugins..

Won't the information just be the same as what you have on the static website? 2. I like the simple design of the website. What was this done with? Wordpress? 3. Are you making anything with adsense yet?
1-Well actually these are blogs.. not static websites.. We just keep on looking what people are searching for weight loss and healthy life and write articles on those topics.... 2-Yes these are free word press themes.. you can get them from word press theme gallery. 3- there is no adsense on these blogs..

I think there is no specific back links that can put your website from PR0 to PR5. This site was started in February and PR 5 was earned in march.. We used following Plugins.. AllinOneSEOPACK (For Page Titles & Meta info) Sociable (For Social bookmarking Links) Google XML Sitemaps (Submits sitemap on google and pings, google, msn, yahoo, and Ask.com when ever new articles are posted or on request) WordPress Related Posts (it generates list of related posts on the base of tags) And yes dont forget to use Cloud Tags... To me the main reason of getting 4 or 5 PR very quickly is that you change the way your blog URL's (Permalinks)... Dont use Day - Month or Numeric.. Goto permalinks settings and Select custom and place this in the field: /%postname%/ This is all we did.. I hope this will help you as well.. Please not I am not saying that you should not focus on back links.. they are very important and we posted almost every single article in many social bookmarking sites later on... Right now we are focusing on directory submission...
Wow, same setup plugins I use. These plugins work great and this small formula works good to. We have used this on numerous sites and have seen a good amount of traffic and good PR.
pmp123, that sure is some great advice, but I am still finding it hard to believe that this alone would bring you PR5 in 4 months ... One of my PR5 websites reaches 400k uniques per month, is of charitable nature (so people don't hesitate to link to it) and it still took me almost 14 months to get it to PR5.
Yes Aaron it is hard to believe.. One more thing that I would like to share is that google loves code which is easy & fast to load and you can see both these websites load pretty fast because of simplicity of the code (thanks to the wordpress theme developer) and less use of heavy graphics.
Adsense is on only couple of posts (Swine Flu Posts).. The link in my siggy is a brand new site which is started in this month and a lot of work needs to be done on that one..
Congratulations. I don't think those plugins were the "cause" of your PR5. A lot of people use them and they don't have pr5 blogs
Agree, I have ten more blogs with that 'must have' plugin for wordpress , which including your list. But still find it hard to get High PR. GUd luck for your PR 5
You could spending money for a website that is high pr but you have no traffic and do not rank high for any of your key words. You need to be more specific in what you want.
