I need hosting by tomorrow

I already have hosting at hostgator but need another hosting solution.
It will be for 1 adult site.

Must be installed and working -
FFMPEG
Mencoder
mplayer
flvtool2
phpmyadmin

the adult site is a video site.

i will probably need a vps. site is new so no traffic right now but will soon have 5k uv daily or so.

99.9 uptime please (i will check)
no fly by night crap
payment by paypal.

Is there any reason you are leaving HostGator, they are a very reputable company who can backup their claims with unlimited. You do realize how hard it is to get 5k UV Daily, even if it's an adult related website.

 

your budget and server configuration please

 

what is your bandwidth / space requirement ? i have a good server for my personnel site use with all requirements , are videos legal ? if yes pm me

 

We host a lot of serious adult projetcs, from my experience with tubes I can recommend you the following options:
1) if your site is a startup and the amount of traffic isn't really high, then a cheap Celeron will work fine for you.
I would only suggest getting 2 HDD joined in RAID massive to make your hosting solution more reliable.
2) when your needs grow, Q6600 or X3220 with 4 Gig RAM 2X500 SATA will allow you to receive up to 250- 300 Mbit of traffic.

What kind of adult website? Is it a legal one?

 

Yeah, i am curious if it's legal or not..legal is typically OK with most hosts, illegal is another story .

 

I have had ded servers from fdc , i dont need ded. 5k is nothing to get and it will get that in about a week or so.
2tb / month bdwith. no more than 10gb space. videos are all tube videos uploaded by users on the 100+ tube sites I have owned in the last 3 years.
50$/month for vps. more than that and Ill get ded.

 

5k UV per day is nothing

I think there are tons of hosting company waiting for you in here. Just look around in this section

correct, and they dont allow streaming video sites.
