Well that is the reason, I'm using SCV set top box... It is on par with any of the DTH service with superb picture quality and sound..... Very cheap too... add on channels costs me just 5 rupees.... SCV is also a part of sun family but the customer support in this case is much better....
Tata Sky is the best. There are over 150 channels + extra games. Packages are flexible and you can add/remove any package, any time. They'll even call / send SMS when your balance becomes low. Picture and sound quality is excellent. You can recharge your account by Credit Card, Auto Debit through your Bank Account, Recharge Vouchers in denominations of Rs. 200/-, 300/-, 500/-, 1000/- etc., enter your Credit Card details on the automated phone number, Internet Banking, etc. But, they don't offer toll-free phone support. You can add packages thorough the TataSky website, but you'll have to call the helpline to drop or remove packages.

Yes but as from his demand Tatasky may be costly as he will not get Colors and other GEC channels which are in Lifestyle Gold Pack so after spending 300 Rs he would miss those channels and Sports chanenls too while in BIG TV you just need to pay 210 to get all GEC Channels excluding NDTV Imagine and that pack have 4 Sports channels too which are Star Sports, Espn, DD Sports and Ten Sports!

First DTH service was launched by TATA SKY and I subsribed it. After that so many DTH service providers came into competition. But I think TATA SKY is still the best. Isko laga dala.. to life... zhinga-lala

Tata Sky....happy customer here. I haven't tried the other services, but I can say that Tata Sky is much better than the cablewallahs....

Well What a boy! Do you know Indian Toll Free Numbers start from 1800. Also only BIG TV, Sun Direct and AirTel have Toll Free Numbers. No Toll free numbers from Tatasky and Dish TV. Yes you will get all channels which you want ( I am speaking based on his needs and we Gujju people's choice) That's not Toll Free but cost you 50 Paiss/Min. Do you know before Tatasky, there were two DTH already in market which is Dish TV and DD Direct+ .
Tatasky was ok, when it started out. For the last 1 year, my Tata sky top box is not receiving signals properly, and I have called customer support. Till date nobody came around to fix it. I thought of going for BIG TV, but me and the wife we never seem to have time to watch TV. My apartment has a free cable connection.
