Honestly I do not understand you nor have any intention of do it at this point, you received EVERY month the emails letting you know that you owe us money, you have some odd conduct of open many different accounts to register domains under different names, the last payment that we got from you on that account was for the domain registration of fxxxxxxxx1.com , not for the bxxxxforum.com nor for 22chatxxxxxxxx.com (I putting the X to protect the domain) you owe those domains renewal too. The last payment that we got from you for the hosting account was on 2008/05/15, you never paid again, even when you never canceled the account. Cancellation procedures are stated at http://www.downtownhost.com/cancel.html and you never followed.
At the time that you made that $15 payment you already had a debt of $90.90, which left a debt of $75.90, included a domain renewal.

You don't have ANY right to reveal my email address on this forum, nobody authorized you to do it, also, you have access to modify your whois information, do it and request the transfer, you don't need that I approve it if you change the whois information of the domain. I don't want to deal with you anymore, you has been a problematic customer since the day 1 and seems like I still have to suffer you, transfer your domain and move over.
No, I'm not a mod there. Be mature, take some responsability of your own actions.

downtownhost, we both know i owed $25.95USD, and was paid. give it a rest please. i will remove your email, im very sorry about that.
now, its a little hard to edit the whois information when it will NOT let me.
thats why the request was made from godaddy, for you to transfer the domain because i cant edit the main whois.
as this is something you already know.
    edit: page.
    http://i40.tinypic.com/nl30au.jpg

EDIT: emails removed from threads, sorry about that.
i didnt think you would mind as the whole world can see it
    in whois.
also why not just reply to my ticket, if you got all the time
in the world to reply here, why not my ticket. not the one you deleted,
the one you closed, then i opened, then you closed again, i opened then
'you put it as on hold as seen in the screen shots.
also downtownhost is not the owner, he dont speak like this, his a nice person.

yes you are, you gave your self away by calling me Lazza because you checked my email and ip adress, then you said to everyone there,
"His a customer of ours" then told me nicely to sort it out in a ticket at downtownhost.
then deleted my thread and banned me.
if you cant remember this then you are not the owner of downtownhost.

ok im going to try and transfer the domain again, if you would please kindly go a head with this then i will request this thread be deleted, again im sorry it has came to this, but not replying to my tickets for support what else am i meant to do ha? you left me no choice. again no offense against downtownhost.com the company.
i also feel i need to say sorry to digitalpoint.com for a thread thats got well out of hand.
i only asked for advice, thats it.

OK domain transfer has been sent to
please let me know if this is the wrong email or right asap please.
i hope we get things sorted soon.

Well, I looked at everything and there are several points that I see. First of all, I have previously seen pretty good things about downtownhost.com, but I am pretty unhappy with what I see here. Namely that their service agreement, which I just read in full, does not state anything about them being able to hijack your domain for failure to pay hosting fees. You evidently DID NOT read their service agreement (which is cached and a very old version includes the same data) that states that you must contact them and get a confirmation number to effectively cancel their services. They specifically state that you can not cancel via email or any other way. While I may not particularly approve of this policy, you did agree to it by signing up for the service. Therefore, even if you didn't use the service, you owe the money. You should always read the terms of service before you sign up for anything. Many companies count on you not taking the time to go through the tedious task of figuring out what you are really signing up for. But, nowhere in those terms does it say that they have the right to take your domain. In fact, the only thing it does say about domain registrations is that there is a separate charge, which you provided a link to a receipt for above. In my mind, that means that you SHOULD get the domain back no matter what else may occur. Anyway; that isn't to say that you handled everything as well as you might have; if you had read the terms, I think the problem might never have occurred. Honestly, I'm almost sorry that I read all this, as I had a pretty good feeling about this company before all this; now I have to feel that I can't recommend it and that is a shame, especially since I understand a little about why they feel they need to institute draconian measures to get paid. Being a webhost is a lot of work, no matter what people may think and for every good customer, you get a dozen problem customers. It seems like they tried to work with you too and they evidently did a pretty good job for a while. In any case, you both seem to be partially at fault here. You for not reading the terms of service, or ignoring them and, on their part, the holding hostage of your name. I wish you all the best of luck.

I started typing that before I saw the response from downtownhost. Was the invoice you showed not for the domain in question?

hi mate, thanks for the support, i fully understand your post.
yes, that invoice is for the domain this thread is about, that i asked support for.
i have request domain transfer again which was a year ago since i last tried.
    i hope all goes well.
i am looking at more old tickets, theres one i asked my server be deleted
and downtownhost replied, ~"Done"~ but yet they keep sending invoices
up to a year later. i just couldnt do nothing about it, my hole family was
saying take legal action, do this, do that. heaps of people know about what
went on. it was just all to confusing. please downtownhost, just transfer
my domain and end all this.
    thx

wow thats a little harsh man, be careful, you could lose new customers.
i thought we ended on good terms, the last ticket when you deleted my account
    you said: "Done :)

Please let us know if we can assist you in anything else"
that was Posted On: 06 Jun 2008

after the account was deleted shown in that ticket, my
payment went through in July. i have the paid invoices still.
what i still dont understand is why you keep sending invoices after you deleted my server dated back to 1969.
whats with the 1969. very confusing dude really.

You had two shared account and one reseller account, you canceled the shared accounts, not the reseller account, when you paid the $15, you had already a debt of +$90, for the 2 months of the reseller + 2 month of the shared + 1 domain renewal. I can copy on this thread some screen shot of your debt history if you allow me.

About the domain transfer, change the whois information and put your name and email address there and the transfer request is going to be sent to you. I gain nothing with your domain, nor dealing with you, just change the whois information and move. Why are you making all this so hard?

DesiredName, we are not hijacking his domain, indeed, the only thing that I want is that he moves, I don't even want that he pay anything of what he owe. He have access to modify the whois information to receive the emails related to the domain, but he keeps my information there and he don't even change the email address, to receive the transfer approval request.
