The idea of a logo contest is to get the final client the best possible logo. If I´m not mistaken, you don´t run Pineapple Chair Company and have no intention to show him all submissions? From my point of view, there is no reason why one shouldn´t try something without the fruit if it works better. And at the risk of sounding arrogant, that is the only point of view you´ll ever need. It is really amusing how you´ve taken the idea of "brandability" to the maximum, being completely unable to verbalize what the actual brand is about. Good luck with your contest, you´re gonna need it.
Apparently, there is a reason: the CH required a pinapple - that simple. What use would it make, even if it IS indeed the best, if it has no relevance to the company name AND it doesn't provide what the CH needed? All you have to do is follow. Why make things complicated when the CH made it crystal clear?
Thanks for being in agreement. I thought it was pretty clear as well. Actually, Pineapple Chair Company is my business. (Family Owned and Run). Don't make assumptions. All entry's count as I see them all and I am the only one that matters here for the decision. Irrelevant entry's serve no purpose and am simply trying to save designers their time and efforts if they will not follow the specifications.
@ MelfromBoD - Please see "Only custom graphics please". What you have here is a picture with text. Could have made this mah self in MS Paint.
Hello! I really don't want to offend anybody, but i think that brandon93s is paying a big money, and he deserves to get original and unique logo design. Not a combination of simple text + part of other companys logo. See the pictures below: & Heads up!
Thanks Nelo. Renderworks, please resubmit with custom graphics above the "Pineapple" please. I have seen other work from you and it is superb, and would like to see a custom graphic not a traced vectorization. If you are interested please revise your entry.
@software-daddy You could try a little better integration of the pineapple into the text. I like the design of the pineapple though. Also, it would be easier to see if you were to upload a higher quality version. Yours is quiet fuzzy.
@ Johntropea - The pineapple is a bit complex and having "Chair Company" two separate colors, "Chair" matching "Pineapple" just doesn't look correct.
