It's not really good for you to bash other ppl thread to promote your/other ppl service. Okay now.. the VPS he sell is un-managed package so anything that only affecting you and not other ppl on the same node is considered under your own responsibility.

If you are new to VPSes I do suggest you take a managed plan so if anything happen they can just do it for you.

**I never have any problem with my VPS.. as soon as I get it i log in, optimized it and tadaaa... no trouble so far (except for the hackers issue).

 

I'm not promoting my service, I have no affiliation or anything with 1and1, I just purchased one of their VPS's and the support and speed of it is far superior to what jacob offered!

 

bro i think u are comparing a BIG Giant company 1and1 with a small new hosting provider called Your1Hoster.

Would he upload the images again? Why? Why if the attacker deleted the index files would he keep the images there?
And if everything was gone, why is the image still there?

Jacob: you can't even scam without getting noticed and easily caught. I am simply tired of incompetent people trying to make a quick buck off other people.

 

Hmm I open a paypal dispute while waiting for him to solve the problem.. He should be able to secure his server now from getting atk or changed esp the front page. Or shift it to another small hosting for a while so client can keep in touch.

This is totally unprofesional.

Sadly no refunds at the moment, and yes I did Hostingprovider.

 

By the way, just to clear things I am a CUSTOMER. I am not Your1Hoster. (Jetfighter2011 in chat log above)

 

You do get what you pay for most of the time! But 1and1 have a VPS on special offer, and it is far cheaper and also more powerful than what Jacob was offering!

 

1and1 VPS are way more $

Jacon "got hack" and closed everything / No Refunds / No VPS Back

 

Very sad.Its just 24 hours i paid him for the vps and cpanel license.Didnt even use the server for a single day.If waited for one more day i could have saved 15$. Lost my $15 for nothing.....I have filed a paypal dispute immedeitly as soon i got the first mail.
I still have some doubt whether the server is hacked or this is just another scam!!

 

Huh . Have paid $17, it should for 3 month vps, but only can use them in just about few days, this is first time I got experience like this.
But luckily I'm not yet move my site here.
I will open paypal dispute, who know jacob willing to refund my money.

 

I would recommend for those who got scam to use iwf-jacob service (I just bought a VPS from him).
He is willing to lower the prices just this time and been online for over a year now.

 

Unfortunately your disputes wont be approved by paypal. Hmm this guy is really really big scammer of the time.
