    Hi

Yesterday morning I found that this notice suddenly appeared under my listing, I looked into it and found that my site had been hacked. I removed all the code and the site is now clean, I have asked for a review from G. Was informed it is normal for it to take anywhere from an hour to a day (or two) for the message to be removed. Well mine is going to be the latter it seems, just wondering if anyone has seen it take longer than a day or two?

    Thanks

    Dee

It takes less than 24 hours for the message to disappear.Be patient and everything will be back to normal.

Investigate the problem very well, and report it to your web hosting company if it is from the server.

I've heard about this happening a lot recently. Often it is purely a technical glitch, although i don't know why. If it doesn't disappear within 48 hours, check your web hosting account to make sure there aren't any obvious problems and delete any offending information

You should search in google the first line of the code you cleaned form your website and you will find details about this virus. If it is Exploit Downloader Escaped JavaScript Virus (very much active and common these days and it has infected many websites recently) then I am afraid that it will come back.

Once you have cleaned your website. Change the FTP passwords and dont save FTP password in any FTP client software.

Your system might be infected with FTp sniffers which crack FTP password from FTP software and broadcast it to their server.

I know a similar thing happened with one of my mate. What you can do is, backup the site data and change the hosting and replace the data. That might help
