I was just feeling bored. I do a lot of article marketing and SEO tasks for clients at freelance sites. Just saw this This is not mine nor am i working on it! There are many such projects daily on this freelance site. Just thought i would share this with you today! Hope you are bursting with ideas!
Interesting project, I sure hope he is not using my ebook as the main basis for research! I will sue his ass if he does!
One can only laugh at this You know all the ebooks are the same and you can't sue! I saw another project for cold sores today. I've seen various others previously.
I would suggest - Make copies of your own products and try saturating your niche. Do you think this will be useful for you Big publishers? It can be really bad for you if he launches his product here offering 100% commission.
i have a family member who suffers from tinnitus. Is your book supported by scientific/biologic research and clinical trials or is it like "lol stay away from artificial colors and don't wear deodorant cuz my hippie guru said that's what causes ringing in your ear's [sic] i used to have tinnitus and it cured me it's the medical breakthrough the MEDICAL COMMUNITY WANTS TO KEEP SECRET!!!" seriously tho, the doctor gave my family member some medicine for tinnitus which is basically like just vitamins and as you may have guessed it hasn't helped (it's been over 6 months).
The book is about an alternative cure for tinnitus. It is sold by Clickbank so you can request a refund in 6 weeks if it doesn't work for you. Alternative cures do work better than the medicines which can have lots of side effects for your body. There is nothing wrong in trying out a promising alternative cure which costs just $30 or so when you are spending several hundred dollars on other cures suggested by your doctor.
Everyone is entitled to do research, but he's basically trying to get a rewrite of an existing book. Suggesting that the freelance writer not even do any research but simply use the ebook he provides as the sole source of research and ideas. This is illegal.
Yea, everyone has to agree with you on this. So i guess what you have to do is buy every new Tinnitus ebook to learn whether it violates your copyright or not (In other words, To learn whether you have a chance at getting it banned or removed from CB!) Will you be the first buyer for the new ebook and probably the first one to refund too ?
Okay, Off-topic question here but if you publish a book on alternative cures/remedies will the government start investigating you or bring you to trial or something if they find out the stuff in your ebook doesnt work?. This is for CB books of course cause there have been cases where it's happened before.
It is illegal to rewrite a single book and use no other sources. If I were to go out now to the bookstore and buy a book and then just rewrite it and try to sell it, I would get the pants sued off me and rightly so. Of course, if someone has PLR rights then that is different. But clearly not in this case. If it were not illegal then we would all be doing it. What I'm curious about is this "coming to CB in 30 days" assertion. jacky8, is this your project?
@rolf - it depends on the level of rewriting. If he changes 5 words out of 5000, then yes that's plagiarism. If he changes 4900 out of 5000, you might have a much harder time. Copying verbatim is illegal (straightforward infringement), but once you get into rewriting the lines blur a little.
Oh not at all! I already told in my first post that this is neither my product nor am i working on it. You can say that Its Just a Catchy Headline like You Guys do in your Sales Pages Glad that you liked it! Anyways I am sure the job will be completed in less than 2 weeks as there are just 50 pages and the product will be coming to CB in 30 days. I guess, we all will soon see it launching here. The publisher may be one of us here.
Cool man, but why do you think it will be coming to Clickbank? It's only a minority of ebooks that come to CB.
