Hi, This is my site http://www.thewowimages.com After lots efforts I was on page 2 for Google for keyword "Funny Images". Also I was getting about 30 hits for keyword "Funny Images". but now no hits for keyword "Funny Images". but since last week I am kicked out from Google. I am not able to see my site anywhere in google for keyword "Funny Images". What may be issue? Does Google penalties my site? My site is still index properly. I have not do any spamming for SEO. What I did is just created SEO friendly site. can anyone advise what can be problems ? Thanks in Advanced
If your site is still appearing in their index, then it's not banned. I don't think you've just failed. It happens to all whereby ranking will always be up and down and it's up to you to keep on building your backlinks and establish your position.
Hi lycos, thanks for you quick response. As you said ranking goes up and down but what should be up down difference?? I am sure I was on 2nd page and now It seems I am no where is this much up down possible?
I have the same problem since 2 dayes now my site is http://www.jobbewerbung.at .. i was at the first page for three keywords now it disappeared for all three but it still indexed i was searching aroung about why alot wrote that it happens alot and it can be that your site comes strongly better ranked and that what i hope..

There are multiple factors that can affect your search engine ranking. These are just some of it.... 1) link popularity, quality of backlinks, take note that somehow new sites or pages were always given a temporary boost in terms of ranking position and as in your case, it might be so. 2) whether your sites are updated often 3) competitors factor to decide who is now more important to deserve higher ranking and thus might push your site down 4) changes in their algo, something that you have no control on
I agree with the above poster. Just keeping building backlinks as there is always a chance that this is a temporary issue.
yeah it will most likely come back. you should get some links while you wait and you'll might be higher in the SERP when you re-appear
Google seems to have been messing with their algorithm recently - All of my sites have been bouncing around disappearing/reappearing for the past two weeks. My advice is to just wait it out and see where you are when they have all the kinks worked out and things get more stabilized.
dont worry, it also happend to me and I also post a similar thread here... just wait few days and everything will be back to normal (it took me 5 days to get all my rankings back )

Thanks Friends, Yes I just see it is back to Google for my key word. Thanks for giving me all patience. I will like to share my some of experience relate to this experience. As I have mentioned in my first post I was in second page. If I say exactly then I was between 11 to 15 position on almost all version of Google. Means Google.fr, Google.com, Google.co.in Now Google has put me on 17-18 position for Google.co.in and on third page for Google.com and I have tried first 4 pages for Google.fr but I am not there. yes I am happy b/c still I am at 2nd and 3rd page for .com and .co.in versions b/c I had most visitors from US and India only in past. So It seems like Google is changing some thing for country specific algorithm. Also special Thanks to sacofrome for correcting my English. Again Thanks to All.

May be that is a google dance. Or you need to update your blog. Update your blog and search with the keyword after 1-2 hours. It will get up. Same happened to one of my blogspot blog a few days ago. Best of luck.
How old is your website? If its a new site and was getting that traffic, then it is normal for a new site to go up and down in SERPs. You will have to build excellent content and quality backlinks in order to get a stable rank in SERPs.
the same happened with half of my blogs two days ago though they are authoritative on their niches (from No1 to 50), I hope this is just temporary thing and not google penalty. After all I haven't been doing any black seo technique so I hope there's no reason to worry. But you can never be sure with big G. P.S. it really hurts when you used to have 2000 visits from Google, and now none
200'ish pages there so you haven't been de-indexed, just looks like a dance. Just keep building back-links! If you want to get on the front page, you would have to add plenty of text to support your images.
