A spokesperson for Google claimed its internet explorer is as fast as Firefox’s newcomer Mozilla 3.5b4.
I feel Google Crome is very fast and easy to use, I always used Firefox but from the day Google chrome came i have shifted to chrome.
check this article about the new Chrome: http://download.cnet.com/8301-2007_4-10247900-12.html?tag=contentBody;photoPromoMain
i use google crome and Firefox 3.0 , i think google crome is better for surf webpage because its very lite. but for downloads i will use firefox becouse it can tweak at about:config.
seconded Although I like Google but I need to play my part to stop them controlling the world. Aslong as FF is working well I wont change to anything else.
I'm using chrome and Netscape as well (even if netscape is dying .. I still like it ..) But between chrome and firefox .. I think that chrome is faster and cleaner .. in the future it will be the best navigator ever ..
Chrome is getting better by the day and I'm hoping by early next year ton of folks will move to it due to it enhanced flexibility and speed. Currently I'm still on Firefox and love it.
I like the Firefox, it maybe slower than Chrome according to the article that banana8 posted, but it is definetly much more reliable I use it all the time and it is my default.
Mozilla is better. I dont think google will like them being inferior so they will come up with new products
I'm probably the biggest Firefox pusher on this planet, as I've had everyone around me switch to FF in the last few years; however, in the last 6mo+/- the quality of FF has gone down. FF hangs on me regularly and is fairly slower then before. I tried google chrome, but decided not to let big G get too big lol , so I'm sticking it out with FF. That being said, the other day I broke down and upgraded IE7 to IE8, my god! Microsoft actually got something sort of right for the first time. IE8 has a lot of the FF features, and it has compatibility view which Opera SERIOUSLY lacks. The tab browsing improved to an amazing new level - for once, MS is coming out strong. I am still going to stick to FF out of brand loyalty, but I am regularly using IE8 now on the side.
