Logo size that you prefer to see/create

    Whats your opinion on website logo sizes?

    I dont feel they should take up much room, as an oversized logo could waste valuable screen space.

    Do you find yourself going for very similar sizes when creating a logo for websites?

    I'm using 700x130px.

    I think they should not be any more than, say, 150 px in height...otherwise its taking up too much of the screen before scrolling. Widthwise, again, as long as I don't have to scroll.

    Wow, 700px wide for a logo, why do you need it so wide?

    Yeah for height, around 150px sounds like a good idea.

    It is wide, but its what looks best in the current template I'm using...I should change it..lol

    Well, it depends on the logo type (i.e. icon, icon and text, and text only). All of mine are approx. 50-80px height and 200-300px width, but again it depends on the logo type.
