Hi, I have been working very hard since 4 months. I have written 200 articles, done SEO, link building, bookmarking, article directories and all that stuff. I getting very nice traffic from google. But, what the hell the adsense serious clicks a day is very very low. WHY? WHY? What's wrong with my site. I am also doing Engineering and doing this job too, But really it has F***KED me. You should be making over $50 a day from that traffic*. Work on increasing your CTR and congratulations, the site has potential. Keep the faith: just work on your CTR now and you'll be doing fine soon. You've done the hardest part. * Edit: Based on your alexa ranks compared to sites I am familiar with, near ranking as yours.
Make the title of your ads BLUE (that is: 0000FF). Blue links are natural to people and tend to entice the most clicking.
How much traffic do you get? And how much of traffic is 'social' traffic (eg from digg)? Social traffic is generally bad traffic.
ramanslaich, try split-testing your ad colors to find the ideal combination. You can easily write a piece of code that randomly picks oe out of two (or three) ad codes, each which have a unique title color. Once you found the best title color, start experimenting with URL color, then with text color, then with font. Etc. etc. Test, test, test!
so all those 200 is purely from search engines and then further it is divided to more after they reach to your site say turn out to 500 or more if every visitor clicks 1.2 pages/visitor.
Here's the thing: You have a nice blog. It looks like a professional blog. There are too many places to click and poke around. Your site is NOT focused on getting that click. You would think that it is really a bad performer wouldn't you? Well, SURPRISE! Anyway, do you see how the distractions are at a minimum? The user really is steered towards the ads passively. You have agreat looking website and a lot of traffic with 149000 traffic rank. you should be making a decent income from adsense. What I would like to see is to add more ads probably a link unit and another 728 x 90 or another 280x336 somewhere in your contents - in between... Just my 2 cents JulieV

200 viz / day it's not a great traffic Complain when you will have 2-5k/day Be serious 200 traffic per day doesn't make serious money ..
Hey I have a idea, do what a lot of people who want to make serious amounts of money online do if you are not already doing this, ad some CPA offers to your site. Go to clickbank or cj.com and get some affiliate offers, one sale from them can net you like 30-40 bucks or more. Give the people what they want.
There is nothing wrong with your blog! there is something uneven with your SEO stragety you need to target traffic related to health and stuff. I like your content, styling & overall blog but dont know why you unable to convert traffic towards earnings
