Advertisers on Affiliate Network

I've been trying to find the answer to this question everywhere but have had absolutely no luck.

When a user clicks on an affiliate link, from a network such as neverblue or hydra, how do they track whether that user completed an action? I haven't seen any obvious javascript code placed in the header of the advertiser's site, or image, or anything.

    Anyone know?

You're on the right track -- it's a javascript code, called a "pixel".

    I appreciate the reply.

So basically, this can be done via pixel tracking? All the advertiser would have to do then is place a pixel from the network on their final conversion page?

Yes, pixel tracking is the most common method. And yep - that's it. :)
