    I have tried 000webhost before, they are good if you are running a site with little traffic and hardly any scripts, beyond that you will probably end up with the no frills and downtime of free hosting.

    I have used 000wh for one site, and i wouldn't recommend them because they are scammers. They are offering an affiliate program which states that you get 5$ for each new free hosting user that registers via your link and continues using the hosting for 30 days. I have done that, waited for 30 days, and the status of my pending affiliate program payments changed to payed, but i haven't received anything from them.

    I'm not the only one to be scammed by 000wh. Just google "000webhost scam" and you will see some more reviews.

    Regarding their web hosting service, i have tried using it for two of my blogs. I don't know if this is true for other web hosting providers too, but after i have detached my domain from their namespace for less than 10 days, they have deleted my site and everything i've had without any notice.

    I would suggest you to search for another free hosting, but i see that you are asking for opinions on their paid hosting too. If you are ready to pay some money for that, there are many good, reliable web hosting providers that have years of experience and many satisfied customers, and i would suggest you to search either at DP or via google for reviews of them. But as someone who lurks around IM forums, you should know that 90% (just a guess) of web hosting review sites are there just for their owners to earn money and affiliate commissions, no matter what the quality and real rating of 'reviewed' services is.

    Just search the DP for some recommendations. Also, if your budget is not extremely limited, you should consider the big players in web hosting business, such as hostgator, bluehost (excellent one), and others.

    000webhost will delete your account if there is no activity for a certain number of days so be careful.

    @vipfactor
    thanks plenty for you response, though i am willing to invest money in it... i want to find the cheapest possible... and i need an unlimited traffic / unlimited store / unlimited mysql size .... Any suggestion you might have ?
    btw - atm i am using 1and1 which works perfectly except for their support service which doesn't exist!!!

    @micksss
    That's probably the last thing to scare me....

    000webhost is bad for freehost, i wont go with their paid service either..
    I recommend freehostia for free host, fast enough, and decent support. but for a free host i think they are good enough

    I'm using bluehost.com atm, and is's not a cheap hosting ($7 a month), but their support is very fast and efficient and it has all things that i need ("unlimited" space, bandwith and domains, SS scripts, etc...).

    I have bought the gold hosting from them recently, and they seem fine to me. They are very cheap for unlimited storage/addon domains. I think it was $6/month for 3 yrs of hosting.

    I was with 000web too, back when there was no forum. So the hosting was brilliant. It was the same as there paid hosting sorta becasue you used the cpanelX and there where a few good features with it.

    But now they have cut it down a bit. Its still very good for free hosting but if you want 100% up time the paid hosting is the best. :D
