Let's chec WHOIS information... Your domain was registered on the 14th of April. Mine was regsitered on the 22nd of February.

Conclusive proof that you could not have been selling these products from your website for longer than me.

I know I don't have any sort of 'complex'. I know you ripped off my site. I wouldn't have minded you selling the SAME PRODUCTS if it was completely different but it's not. I don't think you get how angry I am for stealing my entire business. Anyone with a backbone will know that a good idea is okay... but stealing an entire business model and business is just plain wrong. It's called Plagarism... and that's why I have the DMCA on you.

Has bad customer service!

If you offer a buy one get one free deal make sure you actually give the free one when someone buys one of your review sites and also try replying to a email once in a while

 

Oh and Morrow... my site does have good customer service.

I reply to emails every day with people requesting free sites.

If for whatever reason you did not get yours, please send an email on the contact page of the site. I'll deal with it immediately.

popedope may be the first in the market, but I see no reason why he should be mad. Do you? I mean, in this scenario, MySpace should deny the existence of Facebook, and Yahoo Search should file a DMCA against ... hmm, Google?

There's one old saying: if you have nothing smart to say, say nothing.

 

I have looked into this a bit and found out the following...

1) popedope released his review site on the warrior forum in early March

2) It appears that popedope was inspired himself by another ecommerce site that sold blogs - he admits it in this post on 3/10:

3) There are in fact unhappy customers with popedope's service from this forum - see thread:

As a matter of fact, once the complaints became louder, the thread was closed to avoid further complaints.

4) All 3 sites (the original one popedope uses for inspiration), popedope's and this one all appear to use the same template - it is Joomlart - JA - Zeo Elite:

So - it would not be a surprise that this site has the same look and feel as popedope's if they are in fact using the same template. I just looked at both sites to see the similarities in verbiage, sales pitch - they seem different, but then again, maybe Dell Mark made some changes to make his different after the complaint.

So - it appears that popedope might have done something quite similar in using the same ecommerce concept from that original site that he used for inspiration - albeit he is selling review site templates versus autoblogs.

But - bottom line, as long as Dell Mark is creating his own review site templates and not plagiarizing popedope's sales pitch, he should be all set.

But - I would question popedope's sincerity here in that he in fact did something quite similar by using someone else's site for 'inspiration' - and there are documented complaints about his own customer service and questions about his own ethics on this forum.

Just my 2 cents.
