Dedicated server

With admins, remember you get what you pay for.

When buying a managed service, the person you're hiring knows you don't know anything about servers. They could take advantage of this, using your server to send email, host their own sites, or whatever comes to their mind.

I've got about 15 years of *nix experience, charge 80$/month for extremely basic (updates/security/monitoring) administration, and now manage upwards of 40 servers. I'm up to my ears in work and cant accept any new clients.. Why? Because all of my new administration clients were some other admin's old clients and I get to go in and clean up all of their discombobulated server configs, settings and broken installations.

I don't personally have any site/service I could recommend as obviously I do everything myself. But I just wanted to warn you there is a sea of sharks in the server admin industry.
