Actually he's at 36%. Perhaps you reversed the numbers? Dyslexia?

I'm pretty sure I'm smarter than you. And I am a redneck. Rednecks are not uneducated generally.

And the reason most people with higher degrees are dems is because the reps generally work with our hands, earn an honest days living doing an honest days work, and trying ot provide for our families.

And of course the lower income level will lean towards dems, they get everything handed to them when dems start spending money. God forbide we have personal responsibility and people earn their money, education, and health care by providing for themselves and their families by working.

Isn't Dumbamas field of expertise supposed to be Constitutional Law, yet he proves time and time again he's never even read it. So much for a "smart liberal"...

Well we are waiting for the poster to provide proof of his claim that Liberals are smarter or better educated, but I'm more than happy to run with that assumption:). Here is all the evidence I need that liberals are smarter. Why would you do work of any sort when the government will send you a check for cranking out babies and doing nothing? Seems all the smart people would be doing that.

I dunno. Everyone at the welfare office seems to think I'm pretty clever :p.

There's no doubt they are more educated. They spend their lives in school on my nickel learning how to be more liberal. Smarter? No. More educated? Yes. Experience? No.

Not necessarily more educated but liberals have the advanced degress in social studies, secular humanism, gay studies etc. Ideal for teaching and government jobs. The issue is that people need to learn more math, science, engineering so that the country stays competitive.

50% of the students in Universities are either studying fields that are not required or they drop out.

Ok, everyone that voted for obama, I have news for you - you were lied to. By the looks of the polls, people are starting to figure that out on their own. Of course obamas approval rating is going to fall, because he is just like george bush. Nothing has changed, nothing is getting fixed, our roads are still falling apart, we still have the income tax, we are still in iraq, china still gets free trade,,,,,,.

There is no difference between the two major political parties. Until people realize that, and vote third party, we will never have real change.

Kev, they know that now. They are not even in denial. They just do not want to admit it. In reality it was the 30% of Americans that are stupid that somehow convinced another 20% of not so stupid people to follow them, if for no other reason; they hated Bush.

That 20% is what is coming to their senses again. The 30% will remain stupid and will continue to do stupid things for stupid people. So long as we do not have more than 30% of Americans dependent on government and another 20% sympathizing with them, we will stop the socialist agenda.

I appreciate where you are coming from and I do want a strong third party. Mostly to push the Democrats towards being truer to what they should be (the party is far from "liberal" on a lot of issues.)

But your argument regarding Obama is weak:

"By the looks of the polls" ??? What polls? Obama is currently at 65% approval. There's no sign of any significant loss in popularity for President Obama.

"he is just like george bush" ??? No. On some issues he may be closer to Bush than I'd like but he's far from "just like george bush." Would george bush be pushing for health care reform? Would george bush come out with new fuel standards? Would george bush OK stem cell research? Who would george bush appoint to the Supreme Court? No. Obama is not just like george bush and YES there is a difference between the parties.

"we still have the income tax" ??? Obama certainly never campaigned against the income tax. And I don't think he should have. The income tax is reasonable in my opinion what we need is more income tax and less taxes on goods and food. Sales taxes are regressive.

"we are still in Iraq" ??? Yes. But we are leaving.

"our roads are still falling apart" ??? That's a local issue.

    Wow that's a lot of stupids :D

In your honest opinion, how smart was it voting for Bush twice?

That's a lot of wishful thinking there on your part..... The reality is that your party is still a laughing stock and Obama's approval ratings are still strong. Wake me when his ratings are anywhere near Bush's. Till then you're just flapping your gums about what you hope will happen and showing your frustration that they are not :(

Have you taken a look at this thread lately?

Republicans have been pouncing on every wavering in the polls they read about only to have their hopes dashed a few days or a week later :(

    This is no different.

Bush left office with a higher popularity than Truman. Where Bush is today in the polls is not how history will judge him.

Obama will stay popular as long as he can continue to print money.

No bogart, you are wrong. Obama will stay popular as long as he continues giving money to the people that don't want to work.

Zibblu, about the mj legalization, I agree with it. And I was a drug cop lol. It is almost just like alcohol. Tax the crap out of it like they do tobacco and alcohol. Lower income tax. Stop spending somuch money.

georgeb, most people in this thread are not republicans. Most of the people you are assuming are republican are actually libertarian.

ACORN could get up to $8 billion after the House passed Rep. Barney Frank's amendment allowing organizations indicted for voter fraud or related crimes to receive taxpayer dollars today.

Wade Rathke, a New Orleans resident, is founder of ACORN and also founder and chief organizer of Service Employees International Union, which donated $33 million to President Obama's campaign last year.

Ever notice that those with "Obama" stickers on their small cars are likely to be somewhat off?

I know a few, and while polite, I notice this fact
