Need some google guru help.

Results 1 - 10 of about 11,500 from site:reklamat.info
and i get only 8 with site:www.reklamat.info

So how come i get 11,500url indexed with reklamat.info but only 8 with www.reklamat.info
Any suggestion??????

 

According to Google, only one domain name for 1 website shld be there in index...

if u want, www.reklamat.info & its sub-pages in Google index then,
use 301 redirect
http://reklamat.info [301 redirect to] http://www.reklamat.info
same applies for sub pages
it will keep make ur canonical or preferred url only,to be known as original by Google...that will get all the link juice it diverses,
and also will de-index non-www versions of pages.

also, check what preference u hav given in webmaster tools for url...is it www or non-www?

 

I think google had indexed more on reklamat.info than www.reklamat.info I think it's because reklamat.info doesn't redirect on www.reklamat.info Google is seeing the url in 2 different url.

 

301 redirection can solve the problem.. but you might encounter some changes on your BLs and traffic but that's normal..

301 redirect is suggested by me too.

 

I dont think this is a big problem just set no site preference in Google tools.

No it does not help to use www over no www. You just need to pick one exact domain url and stick with it. It is a problem to have pages accessible from multiple urls. This leads to links going to both versions of the same page. Then you lose some of that PR. If you do a 301 redirect then all of the link juice for that page goes to one url only. You should also setup redirects for things like adding a slash to the end of your homepage url and redirecting from www.domain.com/index.html to just www.domain.com/ Every page on your site should just have one specific url. In Google Webmaster Tools you can also set your domain preference, but to be safe do the 301 redirects too.

 

I checked and observed "Results 1 - 10 of about 14,200 from reklamat.info".

I'm with you because I want to continue enjoying good serps.

I have two websites with more than 4,500 webpages and I'm not interested in 301 redirects
because I have many other better things to do.

 

www.reklamat.info is different to google than reklamat.info and the funny thing is its different to google also than www.reklamat.info/ etc

 

What do you mean by different?
