AdSense would be your best ppc choice. Also BidVertiser is good if ads are manually approved.

I had no luck but also my budget was very limited as well. So it will take me longer to get traffic to my site but i have the patience to wait. I am looking into other methods until I can start my campaigns back up again.

The learning curve for PPC advertising can get costly.
Broad advertisement is good for branding but brings little sales for me. Specific targeted traffic is much less, but converts much better.
Also with the economy in the state it is in there is a lot of window shopping.

You probably need to hire a professional PPC marketer who can help you reduce costs, improve landing pages or your website, and increase conversions as well as quality score.

I own a race car but can't fix the engine and other parts of the car so I hire a mechanic when I need things fixed...

Send me a PM if you would like to explore my services.

Start out with yahoo, it's a lot easier to get used to them and they won't burn a whole in your wallet as fast as adwords will.

Why didn't you tell me that when I started off with Google? :)

I agree, Yahoo saves you some cash.
There are some excellent video tutorials on youtube also.
Search "adwords" there and you will find them. They have a series of them including optimizing landing pages etc..

I guess that with PPC you have to be willing to take losses to get the traffic. I don't have enough money to take losses at this time I need some proven methods quickly I tried PPC back in the day and I didn't make a penny oh wait I did make .22. ANy suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

The tried and proven methods are the ones which most people will not take the time to do. Build a website with quality unique, human created content. Continue to add fresh content several times per week. Write your content with no more than 3 specific keyword terms in mind per article. So on and so forth. You can read much more about seo on this blog, so I don't need to type it all here.
