Need Help When it comes to advertising.

I'm not sure exactly where i want to advertise my website as it's a browser based game, But there must be a place out there where i can advertise it and get a respectable amount of sign ups But, Where?!

Anyone got any idea where i can advertise such a site?

first thing that came to my mind --> place banner ads in popular gaming forums...

 

I've done that, Got 1-2 Signups, They didn't play.

I want signups, that have 75%+ chance of actually staying on the website and playing the game.

 

try my site to advertise your ads, Ii is an free mp3 search engine. Got 1000-1500+ PV per day. All my visitors likes free stuff and 80% comes from major SEs. So maybe your site will get lots of sign-ups using my site.
