I would like to hear your opinion/procedures on how you would promote your blog post immediately after you've posted your newest entry. Of course we all know of: Writing Articles and submit, Twitter, Forum signatures and Backlinks... but is there any other ways to immediately promote a blog post? Here's my current procedure to promote my blog posts - what can you add or comment? Ping using Pingoat Submit to Digg (Does this still give linkjuice?) Submit to your StumbleUpon Pals Make sure the page is in your sitemap which is submitted to Google Add the link to one or a few of your Web 2.0 pages e.g. Squidoo Any other suggestions on how you guys promote a blog post?
Those are pretty much everything. I will include few of my tips 1. Email other bloggers in your niche about your new post. maybe they will link to you. 2. Do not digg of stumble each and every post. Sooner or later your url will be banned. 3. Try article marketing with the latest post as the link 4. Try blog commenting on the related niche to your post. 5. Publish a feed 6. Link to it from other blog posts as well. (internal or deep linking)
BTW had a look at the blog on your siggy link. have to tell it needs serious make over. It looks like an ad farm to me. Try to get a more simpler theme
Im a bit exhausted, right now I feel like spamming whoever I dont like... What marketers say doesnt make sense, I signed up to twitter, facebook, did seo, keyword density thing, blog commenting, dofollow blog commenting, stuff...And I'm STILL not making an easy 1k per day by sleeping... The internet is a battlefield I realise and we have to spam the enemy in order to win. Spam with links, spam with blog comments, spam with semi truths, spam with junk, ripping of people or at least trying to... fuck it
I post the link on my facebook page both the one for my persoanl freinds and my business profile as well it helps for instant readers
I also use plug-ins and add-ons in Facebook and Linked-in which automatically suck up and display your latest blog post in your profile.

Burn a feed so your post will be automatically updated on your forum posts and other places that accept burned feeds. I like www.feedburner.com
If you have an email list (which every blogger should have) you can send an email to your list and say that you have just updated your blog.
A few more ideas... - Share it on Facebook as a link (and encourage your friends to comment on it) - Add it to Bookmarking sites like Delicious - List it on other Social Networks like Tumblr, Squidoo or Reddit
