Website building Question

Ok, I have a question.

How do I make a site... very very simple site that has... I just want one right now, that has a movie to play... thats it.... one movie

So you open up my site and all you see is this the screen and you hit the play button and it starts streaming? Is this hard to do? need any special tool?

It's not too hard depending. You need hosting of course, and if you don't know how to create a single page go learn.

Well I have a very simple software that I use to create super simple websites. But how do I put in a movie to play on my website? does it need to be from another source on the internet? do I need to have the file? how the heck do I do this?

Again, a simple website with a movie player, you hit play and the movie starts to play... how do I do this?

Oh.. Im not sure if they had ditched the 10min limit, well what I'm asking basically is this the best way to go about making a site to offer free movies? I want to make a movie site... that's why I'm asking.

Host the vids yourself because if you dont you have no control over the vids staying in place, its disappointing to visit a site and loads of the videos no longer exist, id never create a site from youtube or similar video hosts.

Obviously this will be a bandwidth muncher though.
