Need ideas to promote my blog

I just started a blog and I'm wondering how I should promote the blog

I plan on buying hosting and a domain
But should I switch to WP I use blogger now?

Any other ideas would be helpful

WP is good for SEO. Do you have a self-hosted domain?

 

I think you can transfer (export) your blog post from your blogspot website to your new WP website

 

Personally I use blogger and have enjoyed it. I am thinking about creating a word press blog as well, but when it comes to the serps using a blogger blog will not hold your blog back for example type in make money to google and the first site is a blogger blog. As long as you promote your blog well it does not matter if you buy your own domain or use blogger or Word Press. Use fundamental blogging stratagies making every post link bait and promoting every way possible. Social bookmarking, blog commenting, press releases, blog directory submission, and something useful is making your blog do follow you will have webmasters swarming it posting comments making it easy to build a readership the only thing you should be prepared for is comment spam.

 

Moving from blogger to self-hosted wordpress is the best thing you could ever do. Blogging with blogger.com means you don't own the blog. Google can delete it at any even moment. A self hosted wordpress you own and can do whatever you like with it. Their are tons of plugins out there to do whatever you can think of.

 

Wordpress is a great platform to start with. definitely recommended with lots of plugins that you can use.

Get a domain name and hosted your own WP blog, you can do a lot of things than using a Blogger's blog.

 

blogger is easy to use because it is so easy. good for people like me who don't know coding

 

There are many way to promote your blog. If you willing to spend money, use adwords, it is the easiest and fastest way. If not, you can try on article submission, SEO, forum posting, yahoo answering, directory submissio, RSS submission, youtube video submission etc.

It is better to move to WP if you plan to get your own hosting and domain

start with word press, its very easy and simple!

 

I like WP personally and would always go with self hosting! but then again sometimes the host dies and i lose my stuff which is least likely to happen with WP hosting. I am still hunting for a good host
