I've got the Google toolbar to show PR and also a version of alexa toolbar to show alexa rank, don't get the one from alexa.com.

Also, I find firebug is pretty useful for checking a sites code and checking if a link is nofollow or dofollow.

I use SEO For Firefox. It's easy to shutdown when I don't need it and more easy to fire up again when I do need it. It shows some extra information in SERP when on.

Also I have Google Global. I don't know how accured it is, but some indications there are that it would show some other SERP info from given country.

Then one what I like the most is SearchStatus. It shows PR and Alex ranking. There are other features, but these two are something what I need.

I find SearchStatus to be of most help to me, however it comes down to personal choice. Play around with a few and see what works for you.

Be careful tho i hear some seo addons cause you to be banned from google. They will make you fill out a captcha before every search if you get banned. not fun.
