Cheapest .com registrar?

I just feel that I am registering too many domains these days.

Do you know any registrar has got good deals on domain name registrations lately. Cheapest I know of is 5.99$ at 1and1.com. (Yahoo had 2.99$, but its expired now :( so sad )

    Anyone else cheaper than that?

If you're going to need hosting, the best deal is generally through the host at no or very little cost; after it's 'old enough' you can always transfer to GoDaddy, for example, for a lesser cost (7.95) than normal registrations and it adds a year to the expiry.

www.ipowerweb.com I use it for mydiv.com and it works fine. But yesterday I registered red-jumpsuit.com and the log in info they gave me doesn't work. So maybe it's not that reliable.

iPower: For $2.95, but I haven't been able to register a domain with them till now unfortunately.
Yahoo: They give you a $2.99 domain as the first domain you register, then its regular price.
Netfirms: Their domain price is only $4.95, best out there and I really love their support.

    Hope I helped.

I’ve only used Godaddy up to date and I can say they are ok. Domains cost around $6.95 but you don’t get private registration “$4”.

I've heard bad things about Yahoo domain registrations... Also, I wouldn't advise purchasing a domain that is untransferrable, no matter how cheap...
