I have had several people reporting to me that people are receiving virus & malware warnings when visiting my blog http://ineeddiscipline.com. I have accessed the blog in both Firefox and Internet Explorer but for the life of me I can not find any warnings. I'm guessing it is coming from adverts. I serve Adsense, Adbrite, AdToll, Clicksor, Kontera, Smowtion, Neoffic & Xapads on my blog. Could one of them be the problem? Can anyone help me here?
adbrite has bunch of viruses and stuff. I did not visit your link cause i did not want to get infected, but if your running adbrite, i suggest you remove it.
It may not be viruses. Some anti virus programs (such as macafee) report java scripts as a virus. I remember this problem going back 6, 7 or even 8 years. When I used macafee, it would report sites like MSN, CNN, Foxnews as trying to infect my computer with a virus. When I looked at the details of the "virus" report, it was nothing more then a javascript.
I didn't see any errors with the McAfee Internet Security tool http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/ineeddiscipline.com
Thank you guys so much for the replies. Someone pointed me towards Google's Diagnostic page and it says that neoffic.com is the problem. http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=http://ineeddiscipline.com
I see what your trying to say but saying "nothing more then an a javascript" as being no problem there, is an concern. Sites like MSN and CNN would of course be less prone to being injected however smaller sites frequently get JS, SQL injections especially if it is DB driven and full of bugs. Oh and Macafee eeeewwww
