I recently Heard of some server trouble from older threads on Dp what makes me think that you are
right for me after that?

Well the server that I had a Majority of my Hosting Clients on Sufferd some hardware problems. I

quickly had it replaced, the transfer of accounts seemed like it had taken forever because of the

state of the old server's Hard Drive.

Can we get Reverse DNS with our Dedicated IP?

yea i have the same problem my sites are down he isnt online and wont respond back to my messages i want my sites back up

 

My site is down, too, and the worst thing is that I have no backup made yet. @@

 

Server is down since a week. Ftn has gone now.

 

thats great thanks alot chris for not telling your customers how are we supposed to back up our sites?

 

No Actually the HD went bad in 1 of my Servers that contains my site once again and the DC is Recovering the Data Bad HD and transferring it to a New harddrive which is going Horribly Slow due to Bad Headers. I really had no way of telling people since my site was on that server and me myself have neglected to make a backup of my site..

The sites I hosted on your server have been down for more than 6-8 months now. Do I qualify for a refund?
Because I thought you went out of business... I hadn't requested a refund before.

 

And when might 'soon' be? I just want to get my backup files so I can set up my site on another server. :-(

 

Ive have moved servers about 4 Times in the past 8 months? Maybe your site(s) are still around but your site's were pointing to a Different server?

Maybe. But I have never received a single server move notification on my mailbox(es) or spambox(es), so I couldn't know about it.

 

That's correct. My two sites are also hosted on his server. But thanks GOD i did weekly backups of my sites.
I did not get any notification too, but whenever i saw my sites do not loading up i tried to open ftnhosting.net and always tried to point my DNS to his servers.
But now, i don't know how much he will take to get back his server online.

 

i bought a year reseller host on feb 7th.

i've had 3 months of hosting so far, and the server has already crashed twice each time making my site down for at least a few days each time.

can you refund me part of the money?

 

looks like he best finding a new server to go for as he gunna lose people

 

I double that. Right now my site is down and I have never heard of any server changes ever.

Yeah its understandable that stuff like this does go on, but you need to be more organised with it all dude.

run you main site off a different server / external host, so that if the customers servers go down, then you can at least notify us all easily by putting something on your site.

Although as this has happened twice 2 me now, and both times i've had very little notifications, and ive had to personally chase you up both times, it cant keep happening.

We have run into some problems with the Transfer and are trying another option.

I have Ordered a new Dedicated Server for Just FTNHosting.net for my site isn't hosting on any server's that clients accounts are on.

I will update everyone asap Via email once I get the New Dedicated server and my site online.
