How ro read article from person who owns 200 websites (different niches) I think you can work with not more than 3 websites on one time. Developing these websites, creating content and interesting ideas in them will make you rich. Actually 10 USD/day are normal for one website. For me earning of 100-200 USD/day from one site are talking success.
If you guys want to make money find or create one optimized theme and you can push out that theme to your sites without paying anyone else to do it, its not rocket science I promise. I'd even encouraging spending a few hundred dollars and having a really nice and easily optimized adsense theme created for wordpress, then you get SEO, Templating and everything in one package, you won't get rich following affiliate links to products that will tell you how do to free things for you.
OK, as far as templates go, I like work by dosh dosh. Also, get a theme you like and then install the adsense plugin from whydowork and you are set to go. I don't spend too much time tweaking the site. I spend time on the research, articles, and backlinks. Hope this helps. TomG.
Bullshit .... Arbitrage IS building sites deliberately for higher paying niches and YES buying traffic to the site for a higher return. This is where they will categorize your site - MFA. MFA you are writing and creating sites based on the keywords that you can profit from - for the simple target of making cash. Not for providing quality content. Right now .... no I don't need to either, but I can show you how to do Arbitrage, I can tell you how to create MFAs and everything that you are talking about .... been there and done it. ~~~~~ You didn't even cover my points, you merely picked out the ones that you thought were wrong .... You claim that "I put those sites up BEFORE I really understood adsense." - you are saying that your really understand Adsense .... my point is if you really understood Adsense : You would realize that what you do is against TOS and you are making MFAs.
If all webmasters had 200 websites, the internet would just be a huge pile of binary trash. Luckily some of us are still interested in new ideas, in quality, in helping or exciting visitors, not only in Adsense keywords.
Hmmm... interesting. Would you please explain what you mean by "coming through low quality sources"? do you mean region or country? or sites? A good number of my visitors come from other same niche blogs as reported by wordpress stats.
I am trying to help those who are struggling with adsense. I don't want you to keep on pissing on this thread. If you look at the OP, is there anything you can add that would help? That would be a good contribution and it would be welcome TomG.
OK then .... I am just warning others that may not know or just create pages based on higher paying niches to game Google, if you are gaming Google and Adsense in a way where you are targeting higher paying keywords .... you are breaking the TOS and your Adsense earnings will be forfeited .... So just be wary of this and don't just build sites for profit from Adsense .... sure research the high traffic and high search volume key words within Google .... that way you will get traffic and create pages that people are actually looking for.
Fair enough. I'd also like to add that if you are going to write on a subject, you might as well know what the best keywords in your niche are. TomG.
Tom, how do you have time to write posts for all the sites? or did you ditch the idea of 200+ sites for a few good ones? I can answer my own question as you said you are adding 4 sites/month. so how do you keep up with the posts?
LOVE this thread. And the quote above is the exact question I wanted to ask, so I'll add a bump here... hoping TommyGadget hasn't gotten tired of defending himself! CJ
The real problem for those newbies that work the Adsense side of the Internet is they see lots of so-called "gurus" that pretend being able to earn $50,000 and more within one month just from one Adsense site; which was maybe (and I say "maybe") true a few years ago but isn't any more. Actually they earn as much money but with the money newbies (and some more advanced likely Adsense earners) will put into their stuff that is generally out-dated. And so, newbies run into the Adsense business and... fail. As many people wrote here, making money with a website needs time and dedication. Fail at this and you'll fail at earning money through Adsense - very few marketers earn a lot of money through Adsense during the first (and second) year of their website. So, focusing on adding a lot of valuable content can make a site become an authority one and then visitors and clicks will follow. Tommygadget, I agree with the second part of the post but higher CTR means the job will be more challenging as there are many more competitors... so not sure your percentages are right for each and every niche out there
CJ, to answer your question, I have lots of sites that talk about things that don't change very often. Here are a few examples for illustration: making a wooden birdhouse, grinding coffee, growing roses, etc. I work on the links to get rankings, traffic and money. I hope this clarifies my position. Prosperity66, I am glad you took the time to read my post. I am telling you that you CAN make money with Adsense in a few months. Here's how: enter lots of niches after doing your due diligence regarding niche and keyword selection. You don't have to write a site with 100 pages of content to test a niche. In fact, by using free properties such as Blogger, you can test the viability of a niche for free. Once you've found a niche with low competition and decent CPC, build your site and add content over time. The fault of most people lies in NOT building links! This part is "boring" and does not get the attention it should. Use the quantity to find out where to put the quality TomG.
What are your thoughts on ronmojohny's post regarding his promotion methods? He seem to have worked out a sort if assembly line method of producing profitable, adsensible blocks of text very efficiently.
