Sure, it's saturated... that's because it MAKES MONEY.

If you have a good product that's different (even if it's not different, really - but if you want to build a sustainable business with raving fans) - I say, go for it. :)

Exactly. Just look at what everyone else is doing and do it better than them.

Yeah,it is to saturated but that is only because it has great potential....go for it if you have some money to invest in a neat website and the knowledge to survive....I am currently in other niches but I am preparing to dive in this niche when I get enough knowledge and some money to support my projects.

It is because people make money from online business. The key thing here is to provide a better product than your competitors so that you won't get lost in the multitude of mediocre sellers. Always endeavor to stand out among the pack.

I don't feel the Internet marketing is saturated at all. This is just the beginning. I see new companies/products/brands use affiliate based marketing all the time.

It's certainly a growing industry. I talk with marketing and journalism students at KU about this all the time.

However, lots of businesses still do not know they need this help. I'm not sure I'd build a website and rely on people to find it and hire you for your services. You'll likely need to use some more traditional means of promoting your business. Contacting local businesses. Joining the chamber. Meeting business owners. Networking. Become the local "expert". Speak at functions. Etc.

    No it not yet saturated.
In fact this niche is ever growing day by days.
This is due to now many people don't have time to do marketing for their site, that why they outsource it to internet marketing company.

we may think that the IM niche is saturated as hell but we do not really know how big it is and how big it could grow just like we do not know how big the universe is....

New ways will undoubtedly become the old ways...people are constantly trying to use and experiment with new models and methods and what's known to be the new kid on the block of Internet Marketing is going to become eventually an old school trick that does not perform well.

If you manage to find or create something of value that is worth talking about and contributes to all the marketers around the world then you definitely have the opportunity to compete in a niche that is highly competitive yet still evolving.

more competitive off course but saturated I think depend on niche. Popular niche like make money online or weight loose is over I think. so must be creative and think out off the box to avoid saturated

No its not saturated. To save you from shooting blindly into the dark to customers you may not even need and also all the wasted time in someone who do not want or need your product. Therefore to me the niche marketing is the best way of getting quality customers and repeat sales of your product.

Niche marketing helps you target in on a customers need for the product that is being offered. This type of marketing helps to narrow down the playing field of your buying customer base. So start out with a good niche and offer to the customer what they really need from the product.

It's extremely saturated. In fact it's not even a niche. There are some things that simply aren't worth entering into. Personally I wouldn't want to go up against SEOmoz, Search Engine Land, ClickZ, Mashable and all of those other giants - they crank out quality articles on a constant basis every day.

By is "internet marketing niche" saturated, do you mean that selling "make money online" products is saturated or that overall marketing ANY product on the internet is saturated?

In my opinion, in both cases, no. You just need to be creative and build something that will attract people to it, something new and original. There are many ways to market products and services, both online and offline.

Yes it is saturated. And not everyone is making money.

Most are just rehashing what others are saying.

If you're unique, and you can publish original, useful information, then you've got a chance.

I would say no because new niches are made all the time. When Obama became president it made an entirely new niche for instance.
