My first goal was $200/day. My second goal was $800/day. My third goal was $1,050/day. Goals don't have to be $10/day.
that is one of the honest review i came across, good work @nkthen, love to learn more experience tips on this field.
Your post had increase awareness toward google adsense, even it's not my main income but honestly it really easy money if we really plan on making money for a long term.
TomG has given a wise advice too. Do that and you'll win. I know that because I'm trying to rank a super-duper competitive term by getting a good mix of quality + quantity + authority backlinks.
A very well written and organized article. It's just like putting ideas in the right places in the reader's mind. Thank you!
Very well said by the 2 top contributors of this thread. I'd have to say that different niches require different approaches. For example this one page website that tommy is talking about may not require any special efforts or growth because there's little publisher competition. However for more competiting keywords, you have to show you're an expert in the field by discussing lots of related themes around these keywords. This will ensure that Google will give you the authority to rank high for the terms continuously, otherwise your rankings will drop. Good content is important to get visitors and having a large website ensures that you're making the most of the niche. However without any promotion, even the best of content can be of no use. If 1000 people have very well written content on weight loss, which one is google going to show first? Obviously the one having more authority links because (theoretically) people will link to pages which are interest to them and of high quality. Therefore, promotion is crucial. Btw I'm keen to know your web promotion techniques Tommy ^^
