How I reached 1,00,000 page views in 5 months

Things have been going pretty good since I started this thread. I did implement the suggestions mentioned here and they have helped me as well.

I now have added another 50 K page views and for the first time ever my alexa rankings show below 200,000.

My today's alexa rank is 199,854

The daily unique visitors is now around 2000 and adsense earning has gone up to an average of $8 per day, with the max earning on 13th May of $27.

Great! I'd probably need follow some of your tips. My site is hardly getting any clicks.

 

When you plan something, and it goes well, you feel satisfied. And that is the feeling I am having today. I had a notion that because of elections in India, people will look for results on 16th may and so I planned for it a month back. Created unique contents and added information which was extensive and so exhaustive that today I can say those details are only on my site and no place else. Also, the part which worked most for me was I designed the entire thing keeping ease of use in mind and not adsense. The text, graphics all were meant to help the user and I guess that is what actually worked for me.

Here are the results:

Unique visitors: 72,000 (per day otherwise: 2,000)
Adsense: $ 87 (Per day otherwise: $8)

I know it's going to revert to the per day figures tomorrow onwards, but it has shown me the path to follow.

Sooner you understand the difference, sooner you'll make a good site for yourself. So, stop being a nay-sayer, and start doing something to make this web a good place.

 

You should block out the eCPM, CTR etc from the google adsense screenshot. It is against the TOS of google..

BTW, is that site hand coded with CSS/HTML and just PHP includes or you are using some CMS..

No haven't promoted on facebook yet. I mean I do have a page for it, but that's that.
