Adding Keywords to Blog Posts: Interference?

    Hey guys,

My blog is a picture-heavy site, so there are many posts with not much text, and in many cases, I don't get that many ads because of that.

I've recently started adding keywords to each of those posts. The keywords don't match the content of the site exactly; I add them based on high CPCs. So the titles and labels are different from the keywords in the post.

My Question: will those keywords mess up the way google and others scan my site for search results and stuff? Is what I'm doing a bad idea?

Thanks in advance for any replies!!!

Add a paragraph or two to match each image, using the appropriate keywords and key phrases. If you are on Blogger you could also add some text widgets across the page loaded with some information, giving the bot something to think about. Could help if we looked at your URL.:)

    Hey Ryan,

    Thanks for your reply!

So, if I add some text in a text box in the blog, rather than keywords in the posts, that does affect the adsense bots?

Also, would it have any effect on the image and whether they would be displayed in Google image search, for example?

The bot would read any content on the page and so a text widget is a good idea. You can optimise images in the search engines. This ProBlogger post should help (LINK)! It is a good idea to go ahead with this as some bloggers/webmasters receive a great deal of traffic from Google image search.:)

You want to know how to fix this? Use the alt and title attributes in each picture link and you'll get properly targeted ads even with few words.
