    Yes...fortunately, it does appear that we will have a lot stable government this time....with UPA not requiring the support of left! :cool:
    The performance of the Congress as a single entity is much better than last few years...in fact it is the best in last 20 yrs.

    Congress led UPA appears to be inching very close to getting clear cut majority with present scenario showing them grabbing 257 seats.

    I am happy that left would have absolutely no role in the formation of the next Indian government! :)

    BJP needs a lot more younger leader as Advani failed to appeal to the urban youth. Even the constant negative remarks on the ability of Manmohan Singh seems to have back fired very badly.

    All said and done, the biggest reason for BJP's failure is that they talk more and do less.

    BJP governments in states like Rajasthan have done so badly, that they won't even get elected in next elections.

    ================================

    They claim that UPA is soft of terror.

    Interestingly, BJP never really achieved anything on the terror front when it was in power.

    ================================

    BJP raised issues like Bofors and Ram Mandir in this elections too.

    What did the idiots do about these issues when they were in power?

    Nothing....

    ================================

    When BJP was in power, development only meant industrialization.

    Poor/backward/farmers/rural people were all neglected by the BJP.

    They forgot that it is these people who make up the majority on India.

    I hope BJP now wakes up to the reality of India.

    It is good to see that the communal and communist forces lost.
