If your program is damn good, you should be readily providing the comparisons as well as listing the features for all to see. People would have gladly accepted to try your program, if they were able to see what if offers! Regards, RightMan
ok guys, sorry for not doing so in the first place. the new gmail notifier that i developed, has some big advantages: * support for multiple accounts - you can monitor up to 5 gmail accounts. * imap connectivity over ssl - google imap is a god gift. you only need to enable it in your gmail settings. * sound and tray icon alerts for incoming messages. * read, delete and mark read emails (at the moment you can only read headers. i'll add body too). * counter for unread emails. * you can access your account in a single click (Ctrl+Click). i needed a utility that will check for more than one gmail account - efficiently. so i started working on it, and then my mind started working extra thinking about all this feature list and how can i implement this. lastly i decided to release this software as a freeware. so i hope i answered some of your questions. i get strong feedback from all over the world. i have users from more than 90 countries. so i'm really not using this great forum (which i hope to use more) for seo. cheers
