I can tell that YPN is dying because the RPC is very low, and then Yahoo lost over $10 billion in 2 days... Plus less and less advertisers are using Overture (YSN) What you guys think?

Yes, it is a sad state of affairs in the search industry - the next best hope for competition against Google is hurting - but, remember that is $10B in market cap - not cash out of their pockets.

People are using overture and lots of them. Every company has ups and downs, look at Apple a few years ago they were way down now look at there earnings sky rocket. Anyway today my YPN earnings are very high.

Alas, do they have a Jobs waiting in the wings to pull them from jaws of defeat? Hard to compare the two in my opinion, but point taken.

The thing is it's still in the beta stage so nothing can be assumed. Probalb ythey'll just spice it up and market it again. The beta thing is a very flexible label. ANd they may even decide to buy out a smaller ad agency with an established clientelle.

    Thank You

I don't think it is dying...as with all BETA programs, this is still a testing phase. I believe that there is enough interest internationally for yahoo to go public and be fine. Also, don't forget Yahoo didn't lose on the stock drop, their investors did. Stocks go down, stocks go up...its what keeps the markets going.
