Yes,you are right.
S.Warne is the best captain in IPL 2009 and also IPL 2008.
Dhoni is also good captain from CSK.

 

****Delhi vs Punjab****

Delhi have been on song with near-flawless performances this season. They were outdone on two occasions by brilliant individual performances - succumbing to Shadab Jakati while chasing 164 versus Chennai and to Yusuf Pathan's late tornado while defending against Rajasthan. AB de Villiers and Tillakaratne Dilshan have been magnificient in the middle order while the bowlers have backed them up suitably and played a big part in the team's success. Virender Sehwag's lack of runs and Gautam Gambhir's lack of authority at the top have been minor concerns for Delhi.

It's a do-or-die match for Kings XI Punjab in this, the last lap of the league matches, and they could not have asked for tougher opposition. Yuvraj Singh and his men have been indifferent throughout the tournament and it will be up to the captain to rally his troops if they are to make giant strides from their current second-last position to a top four spot. But the going promises to get tougher with matches against the top tier teams still to come. The confidence from a win here could provide the fuel for the final push.

I don't think Sehwag would have been able to replicate Warne's success had he been in charge of the Royals- both last year, and this one.

I JUST CARE FOR INDIAN PLAYERS !! And SEHWAG IS ON TOP OF MY LIST( The only Indian to score a triple century and that too two times. Viv Richards and Brian Lara did it two times only other than Sehwag.

We all have seen Warne and Sehwag captaincy just like all others and everyone knows who is better.

I still remember 2nd test again NZ where Sehwag was our captain and proved to be was a disaster.

I think you support Delhi because there is no team from BIHAR?

 

Absolutely i agree with you jimmy.... Dare Devils are winning because of a good team combination they are having...... But same cannot be said about RR, it is purely because of Warne's brilliance and inspirational leadership, the team is doing so well....

I have already said this, i'm repeating it....

Shane Warne is one of the best ever captains that Australia never had......


Shewag is a great player, but i doubt if he is as good as warne in captaincy...

 

Well one thing which we hardly find in other teams is that they are playing togeather without much star status. Also Warne have trust on players that's why they produce some good results!

 

Having already secured a place in the semi-finals after their thrilling 12-run win over Deccan Chargers on Wednesday, Delhi Daredevils would be keen to continue the good work when they take on a desperate Kings XI Punjab in their Indian Premier League match here on Friday.

If Delhi are on a high after becoming the first team to qualify for the last four stage with 16 points from 10 matches, Punjab have been laid low by some rather inconsistent performance that see them second from the bottom of the points table in the eight-team event.

Now seems like Chennai also struggling to get in to the semis isn't it??

Chennai has to win 2 matches from their 3 matches in hand. .

 

Chennai has to win 2 matches out of 3 .
Royals has to win 2 matches out of 2 .
Hyderabad has to win 2 matches out of 3.
Banglore has to win 2 matches out of 2.
Punjab has to win 3 matches out of 3.

Delhi is the only team which is safe and entered to semi's and Kolkata is the only team which is out of IPL now.
I think Mumbai is out of IPL now .

 

I think Chennai will go to semis easily !!
And the third team would be Deccan and the last team would be Rajasthan !!

How do you think like that dude, Should have to win 2 matches out of 3 na, Every team is working hard for it. . So might be difficult i guess!!

 

yeah if Chennai doesn't win tomorrow against mumbai, then it will become very tough for us..... Even though CSK has a match against KKR, It would be safe if we can win against Mumbai tomorrow.... that's because even KKR can be dangerous at times.....

 

Well you can't say that Mumbai is out from IPL yet as any team can go into semi-final. Among them who ever won every matches will surly reach in Semi Final.

 

Mumbai doesn't deserve to go to semis, after a defeat with RR. I felt like this. . Such a poor performance. .
