200MB is a lot of data for a mysql database.

If that's not enough, just go for another host. What kind of sites you thinking of having?

I would contact support and find out exactly what's going on. If you signed up with a different limit than 200mb then they should honor it for your account.

The one time I used godaddy, the mysql database performance was so bad that I couldn't blame them for limiting the space. I couldn't even install an smf forum without it losing database connection...so I guess this is their way of trying to save their mysql servers or something.

In 200MB, you can store a huge amount of data, but then again if it is not enough, you could switch to hosting sites that has unlimited storage packages

Im in hostgator and they limit the SQL usage as well :(

    checked MySQL in planes.

    Economy SQL: 10*200MB
    Delux SQL: 25*200MB
    Unlimited SQL: Unlimited*200MB

What that mean? we cannot add SQL data more than 200mb.

Godaddy is a really bad host and domain registrar as well. One of my friend also faced the same problem.
