Do you use battery bikes ? If yes, do you like it and why ?

My answer : I use it first of all to conserve fuel for future, I use it whenever I am not in a hurry because it gives a speed of just 60 km/hr.
Also, it does not make noise like other motor bikes running with a engine.
Its enjoyable, simply like a bicycle, just out in key and its ready to go.

Well, I have seen them but I don't use it.
I think that they can't move fast as other bikes and thats why i don't use them. :)

Yes, I already mentioned it. It has maximum speed up to 60 KM/hour. Other bikes have about 120 which is double than this.

That’s interesting and I do appreciate your participation to conserve fuel for future. 60 km/h for a battery powered motor cycle is not bad at all. It looks good as well. How long it takes to get recharged fully and its battery duration per recharge? Anyway, I never used any battery powered rides as I’m afraid they’re not that much reliable. But electric vehicles are environmental friendly, that’s fine.

It's reliable. Its maintainance free as it does not have clutch, gear, engine and all.

It takes usually 6-8 hours maximum to get it fully charged and in one charge, I think it can cover around 70-90 kms easily

That's cool ! What if you run out of battery power and need to recharge it on the way? Can it be possible to run on fuel?

Dont know about YO Bikes. But I own Standard bike which does not have fuel facility. There is a battery meter though so that you know how much you can go more. Its basically for local use.

Another thing about it is that you don't need to have driving license for it. So, a child can also ride it.

6-8 hours? What kind of batteries does it use?

I'd like a battery powered bike, but I'd like a 1960s Pug moped even more :)

Battery life is about 2 years.

And Digital, I have never got problems with it, I think may be the one your friend has has become few years old and because of overuse its like that now.
New ones are sure not to make problems like this.

Yes, the one which I have looks like scooter only.

I think there must be bikes available which run with battery but have paddle feature too.

I am waiting for something, which has all the three in it which are the battery, fuel & paddle (optional).
