Offer me VPS Hosting

    I am thinking about getting my own VPS.

    Please list the best price you can give me and for what specs. I am looking for between 10GB and 20GB space, 300GB bandwidth, 256mb ram minimum with CPANEL for my clients (and a good admin panel for me)

    cPanel is going to add about another $15 to the VPS though

    Yes, Cpanel Requires Atleast 512MB ram. you can go for Lxadmin or Direct Admin if you want.

    See any decent Unmanaged VPS without any Panel would cost Upwards of $10/mo. further add cost of control panel, for Cpanel its around $14USD/mo

    So you should have a budget of 25USD/mo Minimum. if you have less then you can skip Cpanel and go with DA(Cheaper than Cpanel and takes less resources) or Lxadmin(Free).

    cPanel require at least 156 MB Ram, 256 should work OK but 512 mb is recommended. There is a difference there.

    thanks for listing the requirements for Cpanel. But my experience running cpanel on less than 512mb ram will result in sluggish performance as there are other processes also eating up memory.

    The Situations worsens when you have clients who run nightly cron jobs for backups, the server starts crawling. so is always better to have some extra headroom available. hence i never recommend anyone to install cpanel if you have less ram, as Cpanel is a memory hungry monster!

    Just so you know 512MB ram is recommended for cPanel. And if you plan on hosting clients on it i would recommend you get at least 2GB ram.
