I have problems and would appreciate any help.

Ugrade went Ok on the face of it, but..

    1. Cant get rid of free with reciprocal option which should NOT be there.

    2. How do I get the directory to pick up PR again for the listed sites, Id rather avoid the mods. and doing database work I dont fully understand.

    Thanks for any tips.

A lot of internal page PR was zapped during the Google update. This is not necessarily the cause of the phpld upgrade.

What's the url? Are you sure Google isn't caching the old pages??? (before they had PR)

Yes it is, it only went straight after the update, 30 mins. ago, the PR that has gone is post update PR.

I see that you are getting support in the phpLD forums, which is the appropriate place for these questions.

With regard to pagerank, if your urls did not change, then the pagerank for those urls would not change. This is pretty clear cut. The pagerank on my directories went up or stayed the same on internals.

Sorry for the outburst, a bit out of character. Phpld is the best as we all know just having teething troubles.

Why is the free with recpricoal link turning up? Its switched off here by putting a zero isnt it?
*Recpr. price: Unit price for links with reciprocal link. If set to 0 links with reciprocal link will not require any payment

Have you noticed the Google's cache of your internal pages??? They are from May...pre-PR update.

That just sets the reciprocal price to free.

Since when did a script control googles attitude about your pagerank? I would like to know myself. :)

    Hi
No ive cracked this, the new version doesnt add the .html extension.

    Regarding this:

That just sets the reciprocal price to free

So where do you switch off, I have also selected in Link Submit, Require Reciprocal link "NO" and Show recipricol link "NO".

What am i missing then, seems daft to me, but it worked in v2 and now I am offering free links without my permission!

well you can turn it off by removing it by editing submit.tpl file in the templates.

good luck ... its not that hard ... just open the file in any html editor can be notepad ... and just remove that feild. ..

as far as i see ... its the best directory script out there. .. nothing is compared to phpLD

    good luck

yes you should because in the default it comes with the reciprocal link.

and i am 110% sure if you remove it from the .tpl file there is no way it will show there...

now if you dont edit it right and blame the phpLD for it ... i dont know what kind of world are you in then.

    Come on mr. thudufushi ...

You commented enough but haven't tried anything...you should start considering all suggestios here and on the phpLD forum and apply them. What have you tried so far?? Nothing!

And what do you think you can achieve with 5 threads? You posted here at least twice and on the phpLD forum 3 times the same questions.

Yes, repeated cross posting doesn't make sense. We are trying to help you, and we have spent a lot of our valuable time doing that so far. Please show some appreciation.

The script isn't causing your PageRank problem, thudufushi.

All of your inner pages have been banished to Supplemental Results in Google. That's why you lost the inner PageRank. This happenned to a lot of sites in the last updates, including some of the largest directories on the Web.
