True. It's called arbitrage. A tonne of sites got shutdown from Adsense because of it in the last couple of years. Stop it now before you get banned.
Many many people are doing this and getting payments from AdSense. One known person of mine did same and got payout. Although his AdSense account was disabled but that was due to another reason. AdSense replied that his site was not having useful content. And after disabling AdSense account, adsense send payment to him. So his account was disabled due to content problem not because he was sending traffic from AdWords. GCS
I suggest you contact Adsense team and get them to explain to you what Arbitrage means in this scenario. Or, ask them directly if this method is Arbitrage.
Thanks for all the positive comments, however I need to clarify my point. The high paying clicks only started when I began advertising using Adwords. The campaign is still running and today I received a click for $2.74. I've never had such high paying clicks. Has anyone experienced this phenomenon before??? Also, Mr Cheap SEO Services: Are your SEO services cheap because you don't really know what you're talking about??? FYI, Google more than allows sites to use Adwords and Adsense - it actively encourages it. ( http://adsense.blogspot.com/2007/03/adwords-and-adsense-perfect-pair.html ) You will only get banned if you are driving traffic via Adwords to low quality MFA sites with no relevant or useful content. My site more than meets Googles quality guidelines and I will continue to display Adsense as I have always done. Please stop posting inaccurate information. It is damaging and misleading to younger members of the site. You may have 15,000+ posts but that does not make you any kind of expert or authority.
congrats buddy...yes it is possible to get higher rates per clicks and click rate on impression also ..you just have to think about right keyword those will bring targeted visitors and targeted ads ads also //i hope that is not an ending i generally get 75 cents to 3.5 $ dollars per click with some high paying keywords ....
I think your adword voucher worked for you. By the way i am also getting 2$ to 3$ through adsense program.
congrats I've had clicks worth well over $1 before adsense went with smart pricing (and still get them once in while with it in places) this all could be one of those common lucky moments but since you did things that you think help bring this one I would say try it again (or at least use those keywords) and see if you keep getting the same results
