remember that Microsoft is ignoring those with 64bit

Double check it. I just checked and it's working fine. It will start download just after copy-pasting the url in your browser and hitting enter. That's all you need to download.

 

Finally its better then using the java based download manager microsoft wants us to use

 

Yup, because of that I couldn't start windows 7 download with my IDM. But download links given in the thread will work with any download manager.

 

I Have a doubt.. do we get updates too ??

 

Yes, you will get updates by activating the RC license.

 

Ok thanks... Now i just have to find out about driver support and stuff

 

If you have a fairly new PC (less than 3yrs old), Windows 7 should find all of the drivers.....for example, during the 1st round of Windows Updates, it recognized that I needed the latest video driver and sound driver. Everything else was already up to date.

I am using Beta, RC download is big, but i am already impressed by beta...

 

Oh my God! you really did a nice work for us. You know! I was trying from last 5 days to download Window 7 but I didn't complete it because I was trying to download from the default procedure that provided by Microsoft and the speed of the download is near about 150Kbps and when my internet connection goes down for a while, the download applet reset the download and starts it from the beginning. But now I'm getting almost 256Kbps download speed and it has also resume capacity.
