Barry Obama's elitist comments about Americans

"You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. So it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

Michele Obama's elitist comment about America

“People in this country are ready for change and hungry for a different kind of politics and … for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.”

Its ironic that we are living in the era of transparency and we had to sue the administration in order to get the cost for that stupid jet fly over in Manhattan the other day (which BTW cost well over $300k). I wonder whose money he stole for that.....DAMN it was ours....

So true. LALALALAALALAA NOT LISTENING NOT LISTENING LALALALAALALAL

Well, while I 100% agree with this in principal, Obama could not possibly have been the decider in that fly over. That's why someone else had to be responsible for it and resign. That said, I think it was reprehensible that his resignation letter didn't take responsibility for the action and instead simply stated that the fiasco was causing a distraction to the Presidents agenda. Was he trying to subtly imply that his resignation was a political effort to end this distraction to the president's agenda, or worse yet that the president knew about or approved the fly over? If so, the president should keep Guantanamo open just to send that useless turd there. Of course the president had nothing to do with this idiocy!!

The President knows where Air Force One is at all times. They couldn't have done that without the President knowing it.

I read the last half of this thread - thanks for all the laughs!

    Zibblu is obamanation! Perfect match.

What was that about the colbert comedian Not being a conservative?? You got to be kidding me, someone thought he was?

Mix in the talk about legalizing drugs and then you get your answer on how people can be so, well... dumb. Marijuana has to be one of the best brain-washing drugs on the market, even if it is only half legal these days. Give a kid a joint and send him to collAge and let the programming begin.

Reasoning goes out the door if you have allowed brain-washing to give you the answers.

Brain washing is good for training military personnel to respond to things quickly, not for reasoning that takes time to research, comprehend and extrapolate.

All this BS i see about change was just hype. He promised he would help with passing a loan modification bill, he promised this and promised that. When all is said and done the money was given to the big companies who just splurged on bonuses lol. Obama is gonna spend us into oblivion. I think hes gonna make bush look like a savior right now. Another product of the corrupt 2 party system. People will never learn.

I would love to see a third party. But as history has always taught us, third party candidates always helps the opposition. Happened in 2000, happened in the 90's and there is a great possibility that it will happen 2012.

I agree. Was just talking with some coworkers yesterday about how duped we all feel when it comes to the auto bailouts. What we tried to prevent with the bailouts is still going to happen and now they have our money. We were supposed to get our money back, hell were were supposed to get more than we put it, and now Chrysler is giving hardly, if any, of it back. One big fat loss for the taxpayer and we didn't even prevent the closure of plants, dealerships, etc.

I had no idea the Amercian public was so dumb....

You give Obama too much credit. It's all about sharing the wealth and rewarding the base such as the UAW and ACORN. The auto-bailout is really a UAW bailout to protect the pensions and health benefits. The shareholders of GM are left with 1% of the company.

I agree. I really doubt that something like the decision for that flyover would have made it to the President's level.

If it had reached President Obama's level, IMO he would have called it off. I'm from New York - President Obama is from Chicago. He would have understood the "big city" mindset that would have caused New Yorkers to object to the activity.

The poor innocent man who was forced to resign was the head of the White House Military Office. He doesn't make these PR decisions, he simply does what he is told.

The true culprit of the flyover has to be David Axelrod.
