Ok I'm making a website template in Photoshop and I have a question, when do I add the text to the website template? When the template is in HTML format?
First you need to create website in Photoshop, once it done you can make slices of your .PDS file into HTML. Now you can add any text on your website.
Hi, well, it really depends on what you wanna do: do you want the text to be editable or would you prefer to have some graphical text (like for buttons, or headlines)? If the text need to be editable, then what hostcoin said is perfect, you'll need to add it later via the html editor If you need some graphical text, you can use Photoshop to design and save it along with the rest of the website graphics. Hope that helps Damien
Ok thanks, I want the text to be editable. Guess I can slice it now. I have another question, say I want a user to be able to make a account on my website so they can complete offers like on a GPT site, how would I do that? Would that be a mod that needs to be installed?
make sure that you ADD the text in dreamweaver. Otherwise search engine spiders will see your page as only images and no content. I had to redo a clients site, because another web designer screwed them over by only slicing a site together and not adding the text in dreamweaver.
