How many times you have been Banned ?

Well that would be like NamePros has the "account closed" feature... but that doesn't allow PMs either

 

I know someone who asked to be banned for a month or so... he wanted to concentrate on his real life and decided that DP was too much of a distraction

 

Tell him to PM some mods to ban him for a month.

Strange person, can't he leave coming to DP for a month instead !

 

Yeesh! I said "I know someone who ASKED to be banned for a month"... isn't it obvious he ASKED some mod to ban him... and he's already back after his ban. And he is a dear friend, no doubt a lil' strange but which one of us isn't

Well you cant say that.. many users r banned everyday (our of which 80% r of mods having bad days)

 

i have once again recieved an infraction.
dyou guys know how many infractions before they'll ban your account?

 

He sent a really sweet PM to the mod... now the vibi is gonna shut up or risk getting yelled at by either of them

okay, and is this forever or just a week or 14 days?
i cant stand a day without logging here.
i've also learned that the user's signature will also be lost forever once they'll ban a user forever and that's horrible.

 

Depends... The mods decide how long they are, and the bans can range based on a set of parameters laid out by Shawn originally in VB, or moderator specified.

I've seen 1 day, 3 day, 1 week, 1 month, 3 month and even life time bans.

AC had all of these.

To be honest, this forum lacks consistency when it comes to enforcing its own rules and sticking with those rules.

lol but they implement it strictly. we cant do something about it.
I didn't read the rules before and after reading it, i still received infractions.
I get nervous to actually start a thread since I'm confuse to where or what section should i put it. lol

 

Implement what strictly? Far as I can tell its all completely random and utterly inconsistent now.

You are right about being nervous though.. Its a complete crap shoot now.

Its 29 pages currently for me. And by the way this thread was not meant for discussion on moderation about this forum, it was meant originally for 'How many times we are banned'. Don't we think we might get banned because of this deed, posting in wrong thread.
